Did you notice new labels are coloured in yellow ? I will explain it further in another post. The &#8220;Visual name&#8221; column contains the visuals id. The green column contains the labels text. This is your reference text which will be used as the source text for automatic translation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Then you need to set the &#8220;Localization codes&#8221; with the sames codes you have in tabular editor<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select &#8220;Translation languages&#8221; with the dropdown list<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fill in the &#8220;Validators&#8221;. This is not mandatory but might be useful in case different people will validate translations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Copy visuals labels into &#8220;Visual name&#8221; column. Even though this step is optional, it helps naming the measures in a readeable way<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select a cell in the column to translate and click on the &#8220;Translate all lines&#8221; button to translate labels automatically<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Take care to validate translations or to ask validators to do it for you<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Then click on &#8220;Save labels&#8221; button. This will create the &#8220;TE objects.tsv&#8221; file. It will be used by Tabular Editor.  A tsv file is a text file containing data separated by a tab character <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 3 : Create measures in Tabular editor<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The file created by the plugin will be used to create measures automatically in Power BI desktop using Tabular Editor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tabular Editor is a powerful tool for tabular model edition created by Daniel Otykier :   <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/tabulareditor.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">https:\/\/tabulareditor.com\/<\/a><br>Detailed presentation :   <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/powerbi.tips\/2020\/04\/tabular-editor-rocks\/\" target=\"_blank\">https:\/\/powerbi.tips\/2020\/04\/tabular-editor-rocks\/<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text alignwide has-media-on-the-right\" style=\"grid-template-columns:auto 39%\"><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size\"> As the enhanced metadata format was in preview until september 2020, you might need to activate this feature in Power BI desktop settings under Options \/ Global \/ Preview features.<\/p>\n<\/div><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"377\" height=\"78\" src=\"https:\/\/thebipower.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/Enable-XMLA-read-write-endpoint.png\" alt=\"automatic translation\" class=\"wp-image-3134 size-full\" srcset=\"https:\/\/thebipower.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/Enable-XMLA-read-write-endpoint.png 377w, https:\/\/thebipower.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/Enable-XMLA-read-write-endpoint-300x62.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 377px) 100vw, 377px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text alignwide has-media-on-the-right is-stacked-on-mobile\" style=\"grid-template-columns:auto 40%\"><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p>As long as the XMLA endpoint has writing limitations you need to activate this option in Tabular Editor&#8217;s preferences. <\/p>\n<\/div><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"514\" height=\"210\" src=\"https:\/\/thebipower.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/image.png\" alt=\"automatic translation\" class=\"wp-image-3495 size-full\" srcset=\"https:\/\/thebipower.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/image.png 514w, https:\/\/thebipower.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/image-300x123.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 514px) 100vw, 514px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Please  be careful using it and work only on copies of your reports. I suggest you activate these options carefully after tests and backups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, you can create measures manually or in an existing table until the XMLA endpoint will have no limitations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Open a model in Tabular Editor. Please check it&#8217;s documentation in the wiki of the GitHub repository :    <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/otykier\/TabularEditor\/wiki\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">https:\/\/github.com\/otykier\/TabularEditor\/wiki<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The script &#8220;Create visuals translations measures.csx&#8221; will create measures automatically into the model. It can be loaded into Tabular editor this way :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li> Open &#8220;Advanced Scripting&#8221; tab<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li> Click on the &#8220;Open a C# script from a file&#8221;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong> Review the parameters in the script<\/strong> <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li> Click on &#8220;+&#8221; button<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li> Give a name to the custom action and check at least the &#8220;Model&#8221; checkbox then click &#8220;Ok&#8221; button<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li> Click on the &#8220;Play&#8221; button when you want to execute the script or right click on the &#8220;Model&#8221; in the tree and select &#8220;Custom actions\/your custom action name&#8221;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li> Redo all these steps each time you get a new version of the script !<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>You noticed the &#8220;Method&#8221; parameter allows to  select&nbsp;a&nbsp;method&nbsp;between&nbsp;&#8220;USERCULTURE&#8221;&nbsp;and&nbsp;&#8220;SLICER&#8221;. In an other post, I explain how to manage the translations life cycle.
